Adventure has a new name.
The Jasper Tour Company!

The Jasper Tour Company

The best experience boils down to personal touch and personality. With the Jasper Tour Company you'll get plenty of both. Opting for quality over quantity and despite plenty of opportunity to expand over the years, Joe and Patti Urie have always opted to keep their adventures more of a boutique experience. This helps them connect with you, you with them and most importantly, this helps all of us connect with this beautiful piece of Planet Earth called Jasper National Park.

Your experience starts upon booking, with Patti. Patti's attention to detail is legendary as she goes that extra mile to be sure that your holiday goes smoothly. Feel free to call her with your questions and she'll provide you with the kind of assistance that only comes from personal touch.

Once you're here, Joe and his crew take over. Joe, a member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, has been educating and delighting guests for years, bringing the mountains and the animals to life with his colourful personality, his extensive knowledge and a sense of humour that keeps people engaged from start to finish!

But don't take our word for it. Read the testimonies of the people who have already experienced an adventure with the Jasper Tour Company:

We also encourage you to explore other indigenous experiences both here in Alberta and across Canada. Click on the logos for more info!

I came to the mountains in 1988 not knowing a lot about my family's history along the Athabasca River other than to say that we are Métis and we have lived along it's shores for a long time. At the time, I was 22 years old and like most 22 year olds, I was far more interested in making a little bit of my own history!

I began training and working as an Interpretive Guide in 2000 and the more time I spent along the river as it carved its way through the peaks and valleys of the Rockies, the more my own history, as well as the histories of other indigenous people who had roamed these valleys, began to speak to me.

Nowadays, with the help of my wife Patti, I do my best to include their voices in my tours. Theirs are the many voices of nature. The voices of the mountains, the rivers, the plants and the animals. Theirs are the voices that need to be heard and listened to.

Come and listen to them with us!
It's a beautiful thing!

My mountain love story began when I arrived in Whistler B.C from Toronto in 1989, but it was cemented with Joe, here in Jasper, in 1998. This is one of the world's truly special places. It's our home and it's where our children have grown up.

Together, Joe and I have built an experience that we have delivered to visitors from all over the world. An experience that constantly gets rated 'the best thing to do when visiting Jasper National Park!' But don't take my word for it. Read what our previous guests have had to say and then come and experience a trip with us for yourself!
